Once created, you can start adding entries to your journal immediately.

Think of journals as containers and entries as the content within them:

  • Journal: A collection of related entries, like a physical journal or notebook. You might have different journals for different aspects of your life (e.g., "Personal Reflections," "Travel," "Work Notes").
  • Entry: Individual posts within a journal, similar to pages in a physical journal. Each entry has its own title, content, date, and can include mood tracking and categorization.

You can create multiple journals and organize your entries however you prefer.

Categories and tags help you organize and find your entries:

  • Categories: Broader groupings for your entries with customizable colors. Good for major themes like "Health," "Work," or "Travel."
  • Tags: More specific keywords to label content within entries. Good for specific topics like "recipe," "meditation," or "meeting notes."

To use them:

  1. Create categories and tags from their respective management pages
  2. When writing an entry, select relevant categories and add tags
  3. Use the filters on your journal view to find entries by category or tag

This system allows for powerful organization and searching of your journal content.
